Key Responsibilities and Duties

Cleaning Duties

Clean classrooms, shared areas, and other designated spaces to a high standard, ensuring they are well-maintained and conducive to learning
Ensure all cleaning and site equipment is kept in a safe and working condition
Replenish consumables (e.g., soap, paper towels) as needed

Teamwork and Flexibility

Work collaboratively with the site team and other staff to ensure the school is clean and presentable at all times
Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the school

Safeguarding

Maintain a good understanding of the school's safeguarding policies and procedures
Report any concerns or issues related to the safety and wellbeing of pupils to the designated safeguarding lead (DSL)
Contribute to the overall safeguarding of all pupils in the school

Skills and Competencies

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the school
Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with pupils, staff, and visitors
Understanding of and commitment to the school's vision of being highly inclusive and supporting children with complex special needs
