About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a School Cleaner. You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Maintaining hygiene standards in line with school policies.
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliability and punctuality.

10 hours per week (flexible schedule, typically outside school hours). Hours can be negotiated at interview.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher for a maternity leave. Start date will be 13/01/25 and end date will be end of the Summer term 2025. However, for the correct candidate this will be extended until 16/12/25.Ideally the candidate would also be willing to be SENCO during this time, but this is not necessary.
