Cleaner in Charge

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Cleaner in Charge

This role will be based at St Augustine’s Catholic High School.

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 7-11

£12,793 to £13,636 actual (£23,668 to £25,227 FTE)

Hours: 20 hours per week

Term Time plus 20 days non-term time

Contract: Permanent

The successful applicant will:

  • Monitor the work of the team of cleaners
  • Be responsible for the care of the cleaning equipment
  • Keep a stock check on cleaning materials and inform the Senior Caretaker in good time to reorder and avoid shortages
  • Organise and oversee the deep cleans during non-term time
  • Be responsible for cleaning specified areas of the school to the required standard, as instructed.
  • Empty bins and remove rubbish from the premises.
  • To use powered cleaning equipment as directed and in accordance with their instructions.

Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School was established in 1974 by the Archdiocese of Birmingham to serve the needs of Catholic families living in Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas and families of all beliefs.
