What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time cleaner to join our existing dedicated cleaning team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Strives to be the best, having high expectations of themselves and their work
- Is well organised and demonstrates real commitment to team working
- Is reflective of their own practice and prepared to use their initiative
Duties will include:
- Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standards
- Emptying litter bins, and removing waste to designated areas
- Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated
- Sweeping and mopping of dining areas, and school halls
- Using powered equipment where necessary (scrubbing machines, wet pick-up machines, vacuum cleaners)
- Cleaning of working surfaces and other furniture as directed
- Clearing up after flooding and/or any other emergency cleaning
- Effective and efficient on-site liaison with Cleaner in Charge/Site Manager to provide excellent standards of customer care
