Cleaner job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join a strong premises team.
You will be joining one of the top performing non-selective schools in the local area, We have a strong focus on high standards and aspirations, built around the simple message that supporting students is the most important thing we do.
Main Tasks
- Organise and carry out all tasks, as directed, to provide a hygienically clean and safe environment.
- Comply with all statutory regulations and ensure that COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and guidelines are fully complied with, to always maintain a safe working environment.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment including scrubbing and buffing machines.
- To wear and maintain the provided personal protective equipment whilst carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties.
- To contribute to the performance of the team in ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.
- To attend training sessions and meetings as required.

Hours per week:
16 hours per week. All year round. 3.45pm - 7.00pm Monday to Thursday and 3.45pm - 6.45pm on Friday
