What skills and experience we're looking for
Cleaning Supervisor
Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a committed Cleaning Supervisor to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our large all-through school site. Working closely with the Site Manager/Head Caretaker, you will oversee the cleaning team and ensure high standards are consistently met in line with Health & Safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support cleaning staff, ensuring quality and timekeeping.
- Allocate work areas and monitor cleaning standards.
- Provide induction and training for new staff and maintain records.
- Manage stock levels of materials and equipment.
- Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning products (COSHH).
- Conduct regular site inspections and report any damage
About you:
- Friendly, reliable and organised.
- Confident in leading a team.
- Knowledgeable about cleaning techniques and Health & Safety requirements.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Basic IT skills and good communication essential.
