George Salter Academy are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our dedicated team of cleaners (22.5 hours per week; 1.45pm - 6.15pm). This is a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our school buildings are maintained to a high standard at all times.
The successful candidate will:
- Supervise and support the school cleaning team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards
- Allocate cleaning duties and ensure staff are effectively deployed.
- Monitor cleaning stock and order supplies as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
- Liaise with the Site Manager and Senior Leadership Team to report issues and manage priorities.
- Provide training and guidance to new and existing cleaning staff.
