The CARE Federation is seeking an organised, proactive, and professional Clerical and Communications Assistant to join our team, based at Woodland View Junior School. This role is ideal for someone who excels at multitasking, enjoys supporting colleagues, and has strong communication skills across digital and written platforms as well as face-to-face.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient day to day operations, supporting internal and external communication, and providing high-quality administrative support. They must have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team and must uphold the strictest confidentiality to the Federation and our families. Hours of work, 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses. 
  • Ensure that all visitor safeguarding procedures are followed 
  • Provide general clerical support, including filing, photocopying, data entry, and correspondence. 
  • Draft and edit written communications, newsletters, notices, and reports. 
  • Assist with maintaining social media channels, website content, and communication materials.
  • Supporting the administrative team and wider school as necessary to ensure the best possible experience for children and families
