Pay scale: H5 (SCP 9-14) £26,409 - £28,624 paid pro rata for hours and weeks worked

Hours: 6 hours per week

Weeks: 52.142 weeks per year

Actual salary: £4,283.10 - £4,642.34 (includes holiday entitlement)

Ridgeway Academy is part of the Ambition Education Trust (AET). The Ambition Education Trust (AET) consists of ten schools in Hertfordshire; three primary, one nursery and infants’, one juniors and five secondary. Our Trust launched in September 2024 following the amalgamation of two established Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), Alban Academies Trust and Atlas Multi Academy Trust. To work effectively with governors and with the Headteacher. The Clerk will be responsible for advising the governing body on constitutional and procedural matters, duties and powers and will work within the current legislative framework. He/she will secure the continuity of governing body business and observe confidentiality.

To cover all Governing Body, Committee meetings and panel hearings including preparation time, typing and circulating minutes and action points. Includes evening work.
