Diverse Academies Trust are seeking a Cluster Site Manager to join our talented and supportive team across Mansfield the surrounding area and our primaries in Retford and Tuxford. This is an exciting opportunity to play akey role in maintaining and developing a diverse estate of academies which includes;

  • Thoresby Vale Primary Academy
  • Horizons Academy (SEN)
  • Thrumpton Primary Academy
  • Bracken Lane Primary Academy
  • Tuxford Primary Academy

The opportunity

The trust has a cluster of academies in these areas with a range of estate including Victorian, clasp and new build academies. Our academies include all phases of primary, secondary and special.

The Cluster Site Manager will support the effective management of these academy buildings, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all systems and processes working under the direction of the Facilities Manager and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with site colleagues across the area.
  • Provide a professional and proactive service to the highest levels, ensuring a safe learning and working environment for the benefit of the students and staff.
  • Under the direction of the Facilities Manager support the management and oversight of all systems, ensuring correct operation effectiveness and efficiencies, servicing and other statutory requirements are met.
  • Under the direction of the Facilities Manager manage day to day compliance, health and safety for these sites, including developing of risk assessments and operational procedures.
  • Arrange, manage and facilitate service contracts and maintenance work as directed.
  • Develop knowledge of all academy sites to facilitate and work flexibly across the Trust when required.
  • Manage and co-ordinate a team of premises staff across a group of academies.

Essential:

  • Professional qualification in Facilities Management / Electrical / Mechanical

  • Experience of controlling and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS) and control operations, maintenance and improvement

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in educational settings
  • NEBOSH general certificate or similaror willing to obtain qualification
