What skills and experience we're looking for

proven experience of the SEN FE sector
  • experience of strategic and organisational leadership within FE
  • success in leading a team of teaching staff and therapists
  • the ability to inspire staff to continue to strive to provide the best opportunities for our students
  • an understanding of the Ofsted Inspection Framework for FE and Skills

You will be expected to:

  • ensure the highest standards of Safeguarding and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of our students in all that you do
  • work with the headteacher to deliver strategic college development
  • lead all aspects of our day to day college operations
  • work alongside both school and college staff to fulfil the requirements of working at Brentwood
  • liaise and report to college governors
  • ensure rigorous quality assurance, self-assessment and quality improvement are implemented
