Required as soon as possible

Student learning is at the heart of everything we do at Kingsbury: our vision is to create an inclusive and innovative learning environment which promotes high standards, celebrates excellence and personal achievement and encourages respect to all, from all. If this resonates with you and you want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and approachable colleague to join our administration team as Cover and Reprographics Coordinator. This is a varied and important role at the heart of the school, ensuring that daily staff absence is managed effectively and that colleagues receive a responsive, accurate and efficient reprographics service. The successful candidate will also provide administrative, reception and first-aid support as required.

Key Purpose:

To coordinate the school’s daily cover arrangements for staff absence, ensuring that appropriate and suitably vetted staff are deployed effectively.

To oversee the efficient day-to-day operation of the school’s reprographics service, ensuring that requests are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

To provide high-quality administrative, reception and first-aid support as part of the school’s wider administration team.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

 Arranging daily cover for absent teachers and liaising with supply agencies as necessary.

 Coordinating room changes and cover arrangements for examinations, trips, enrichment activities and other school events.

 Providing accurate absence and cover information and reports to school leaders.

 Ensuring that the required safeguarding and vetting confirmations are received before supply staff commence work and providing an appropriate induction and briefing.

 Ensuring that appropriate work and relevant information are available to staff providing cover.

 Coordinating reprographics requests and maintaining a well-organised, professional and efficient facility.

 Monitoring equipment and stock levels, ordering paper and consumables, undertaking routine troubleshooting and arranging servicing or repairs when required.

 Providing administrative, reception and first-aid support and promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.

We will play to your strengths and can offer you:

 A supportive and collaborative administration team in which your contribution will be valued;

 A varied role with the opportunity to make a direct contribution to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school;

 A programme of training and professional development, including first-aid training where required;

 A range of benefits including cycle to work, free parking, an employee discount scheme, and staff wellbeing and recognition initiatives through the Trust’s people strategy and wellbeing committee.

The Trust is committed to investing in and developing all staff and, most importantly, bringing about the best possible outcomes for our students, who deserve the very best. Our Trust values are important to all of us and include Respect to All, From All, Innovation and Collaboration.

Kingsbury School has a great deal to be proud of. It is the kind of place where people want to work, with a meaningful focus on student outcomes and a desire to continuously improve. We are passionate about offering a climate and culture within which all colleagues thrive.

Martin Clarke, Headteacher, would be delighted to meet you and talk about the opportunity. Please contact Felicity Biddle at the school to book a visit.
