Cover & HR Administrator
37 hours per week
7am-3pm Monday-Thursday & 7am-2.30pm Friday
Term Time + 5 Days
Grade 6 SCP 12-18
Actual Salary £25,721- £28,365 (£29,542- £32,578 FTE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the HR Team at Castleford Academy as our Cover and HR Administrator.
You will:
Coordinate cover for planned and unplanned staff absences, ensuring effective staff deployment.
Maintain accurate cover, personnel and absence records.
Provide administrative support across a range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding and employee records.
Liaise with staff, leaders and external agencies regarding cover and HR matters.
Ensure all HR documentation is handled accurately and confidentially.
Support compliance with safeguarding, employment and data protection requirements.
Produce reports and maintain HR and cover management systems.
You will have:
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Experience maintaining accurate records and systems.
A positive and flexible approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
