As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, delivering set cover work and supporting students in their learning
  • Foster a positive and purposeful classroom environment, upholding high standards of behaviour
  • Work alongside teaching staff and support colleagues to provide general classroom assistance
  • Ensure the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils and promote the school’s values of care, collaboration, attitude, respect, and equality (CARE)
  • Be ICT literate and comfortable using a variety of software packages
