Cover Supervisor job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work with classes across the curriculum during the short-term absence of teaching staff. The successful candidate will deliver pre-planned lessons, whilst supervising the learning, engagement and progress of the class working within the school’s policies and protocols.
The ideal candidate will be confident, supportive and possess good communication skills.
The role will include general cover for any subject and other general duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the school.

This role may be particularly suitable for a graduate looking for classroom experience prior to undertaking teaching training or equally someone with existing experience within education.
