This role
involves the supervision and guidance of whole classes during the short-term
absence of teachers. It will also
involve invigilating exams and accompanying staff and pupils on educational
visits.

The
successful applicant will be able to relate positively to young people,
managing behaviour to ensure they have a supported, constructive learning
environment.

We are
seeking individuals with an understanding and a high personal level of
emotional intelligence, as well as the ability to use their own initiative and
to work collaboratively with others.

The post
would be excellent training for anyone considering a career in teaching specifically
or working with young people in general.
