Foundry Lane Primary School is seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team, supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the school, working with teachers to with teachers to plan, organise and support teaching and learning activities for classes.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task
- Deliver pre-set lessons and provide clear instructions to support learning
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Support pupils with varied learning needs, including SEN
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
Key Requirements
- NVQ 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
- Level 2 qualifications in maths/numeracy and English/literacy
- Experience working with students in a formal setting
- Experience of delivering whole class teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage behaviour calmly and confidently
- Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly
- Commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and development
