What skills and experience we're looking for

The role of Cover Supervisor/Senior Teaching Assistant is distinct in being supportive for both staff and students, in varying capacities.

You will be required to deliver lessons on behalf of the class teacher during short-term absences. Liaise with the class teacher in advance of absences to ensure seating plans are consistent and resources are obtained in advance of the lessons.

In supporting teachers as a Senior Teaching Assistant, you will work under the instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom to support access to learning for students and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.
