Cover Supervisor A brilliant opportunity has arisen and we are looking to appoint an able individual to act as a Cover Supervisor at Hylands School. The post holder will act as a vital part of our fantastic teaching team at Hylands in supporting the school to cover short term teacher absence. Enthusiasm and a sense of humour are seen as essential qualities in order to co-ordinate the smooth-running of lessons whilst ensuring a positive learning environment for students. This vacancy may suit a graduate who is looking to gain some school experience before applying for their teacher training. The school could then support you with your teacher training application over the coming year. The role requires someone who is experienced in working with children, has energy, enthusiasm, a calm manner, the ability to prioritise and a flexible working approach. They will be approachable, have sound people skills, strong written and verbal communication together with a ‘can do’ attitude.
