What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy for an exceptional Cover Supervisor to work with an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Cover Supervisor with a commitment for continued professional development to work within all of our faculties. The successful candidate will provide effective cover supervision for absent teachers to ensure continuity of student education as well as providing additional support for other activities. The role includes invigilation and administration to support teachers to focus on student learning.

We would welcome applications from both experienced candidates and those who may be beginning their journey in education. This role would also be suitable for an ECT who wishes to gain confidence and knowledge in the classroom before commencing their first teaching job.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 8.00am –4.00pm and Friday, 8.00am – 3.30pm, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch. This is a permanent term time only contract.
