Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.45pm (33.75 hours a week)

This role is ideal for someone considering training to teach in the future or for someone who enjoys helping students to reach their potential.

The Cover Supervisor will supervise classes during the absence of a teachers. Cover Supervisors will give instructions for the lesson as provided by a teacher and the primary focus of the role will be to maintain good order and to keep students on task.

Cover Supervisors will respond to general questions and provide general feedback to teachers but will not be required to undertake ‘specific work’ (planning, preparation, delivery, assessment, recording and reporting of achievement, progress and development), for any timetable lessons that have been allocated.

Cover Supervisors will act under the professional direction of teachers.
