We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support pupils in and out of the classroom, including supervision of whole classes during short term absence of teachers. The role will involve working under the day to day guidance of teaching staff and the Cover Co-ordinator, and individuals will be expected to be adaptable and well organised in their approach. Whilst ideally having prior classroom experience, this opportunity may equally appeal to recent graduates looking for experience before pursuing a career in Teaching.
Ideally the appointed candidate will:
Possess former classroom experience
Have experience of working with young people
Have excellent communication skills to motivate students and gain their respect
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the school
Have a real passion to “make a difference”
