Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust, comprising of eight schools, six primary schools and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Cover Supervisor at The King’s School. The successful candidate will be responsible for complementing the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. They will provide classroom supervision for pupils where colleagues are absent, and maintain accurate records during the usual teachers absence.

This is a 32.5 hours per week, term time plus five days, permanent contract, equating to 195 working days per annum.

  • has experience of working in a similar specialist area.
