What skills and experience we're looking for
Essential
- 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English Grade at grade 9-4 or equivalent.
Desirable
- Teaching Qualification, teaching experience in a school.
- Cover Supervisor experience in a secondary school.
Essential
- Experience of working in a school environment supporting teaching and learning in the classroom.
- Experience working within a school managing classroom behaviour.
Desirable
- Recent experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school.
Essential
- Proficient in the use of ICT.
- Ability to supervise and assist students.
- Flexible and confident approach to supporting learning.
- Knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities.
- Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation, including Child Safeguarding and Health & Safety.
