Cover Teacher - All Year Groups job summary
Do you want the chance to work in a forward thinking, locally based Multi Academy Trust?
We are looking for a dynamic, cover teacher to join our team at Green End Primary School in Burnage.
Would you relish the opportunity to work with highly motivated and innovative staff who always put the children first and have the highest aspirations for each individual?
This is a temporary, one year post to cover classes for PPA and staff release from Nursery to year 6. As this position is not in one class, it would not be suitable for an NQT to complete as their NQT year. The position is full time, however we will consider part time and job share applications as well as requests for flexible working. The most important thing to us, is that we find the right person for our children, team and community.
The successful candidate will be creative and innovative in their approach to learning, someone who can demonstrate a strong track record of outstanding teaching. They will be a creative and highly motivated professional who has a very positive, ‘can do’ attitude. A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential.
As part of the first stage of the assessment process, we would like to see you teach a 15 minute English lesson in your own school. You will need to be able to video this. If you are shortlisted, you will need to be able to make your video available to us by the 17th May.
Assessments and interviews will be held by Zoom on 18th May 2021.
