Creative Arts Technician

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours, 39 weeks (term time plus 1 week)

Working pattern: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am – 3.30pm on Fridays

Salary: Pathway 2, £20,807 - £22,161 per annum (FTE £24,404 - £25,992)

Your role:

As a Creative Arts Technician, you’ll play a vital part in supporting both the Creative Arts and Technologies departments. From preparing materials and maintaining equipment to assisting in practical lessons and showcasing student work, your role will be hands-on, varied, and deeply rewarding. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons run smoothly and students have the resources they need to thrive.

We’re looking for someone with a practical background, strong organisational skills, and a passion for creativity. You’ll need to be confident working independently and as part of a team, with good ICT skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential—what matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to supporting learning.
