Curriculum Area Lead- Modern Foreign Languages - Spanish job summary

You will:

  • Lead and teach Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish) across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality Spanish lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding

  • Drive curriculum development, ensuring a coherent and ambitious Spanish programme

  • Lead enrichment opportunities to enhance students’ linguistic and cultural experiences

  • Support staff and students in developing confidence, fluency, and effective communication skills

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching Spanish in a secondary setting

  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning

  • Demonstrates leadership skills and the ability to develop an effective curriculum

  • Can motivate and challenge students of all abilities

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
