What skills and experience we're looking for
Required from 24 April 2023 or 1 September 2023
The Governors wish to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic teacher to lead the Computing department. The successful applicant will be responsible for the curriculum intent and the implementation of schemes of learning for all students at Key Stage 3-5. They will work with colleagues to further review and develop existing schemes in line with the school’s priority areas. Ambitious new programmes of study will be developed to inspire and engage all learners, including those who are struggling to keep up. Quality assurance is an integral part of the role including leading on book looks, lesson drop ins, student voice and data reviews. The Curriculum Leader will take responsibility for all stages of planning for assessment, from preparation in lessons through to moderation in department meetings.
