We are looking for an outstanding teacher with the ability to be Curriculum Leader for Performing Arts at the Academy. Performing Arts is an area of the curriculum with great potential for further development, we teach BTEC music and GCSE drama. And although we are ideally looking for a drama specialist, we are open to finding the right candidate. Within Stanchester there are excellent support systems and development opportunities. The Headteacher is an arts specialist and an ambassador for the creative arts in education. If you want to start something incredible then this is the job for you. Dream big!
You will need high expectations, good behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students in order to raise standards and maximise their potential.
Please note, although we are ideally looking for a full-time colleague, we are open to discussing flexible working options.
