What skills and experience we're looking for
THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Curriculum Leader who shares our ambition to improve, grow, and inspire students. You will have high standards and a deep commitment to providing outstanding teaching and learning that leads to excellent outcomes for our students.
First and foremost, you will be an excellent Music teacher and have an unwavering passion for your subject. You will be able to teach across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who values working collaboratively as part of a team, driven by evidence-based approaches to teaching. Old Buckenham High School is a small yet vibrant school situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. With an idyllic rural location, we are less than 30 minutes’ drive from Norwich, offering the perfect balance of peaceful surroundings and easy access to the city.
Currently, we have around 500 students aged between 11 and 16 years. Our vision is to provide an inspiring, challenging, and inclusive learning environment, driven by high-quality, evidence-based teaching. We hold traditional values and are incredibly proud of our excellent pastoral care, guidance, and support, ensuring all students feel valued and nurtured.
