What skills and experience we're looking for

To help us, we wish to appoint a well organised and detail‑focused Data Managerto oversee the accurate management of student data across KS3 and KS4. The role involves maintaining data systems, coordinating assessment and reporting cycles, producing clear reports for staff and parents and supporting colleagues with data queries. Working closely with senior leaders, the Data Manager plays a key role in inspection readiness and ensuring data is used effectively to support students. This post is term‑time, with three days attendance required in the school holidays for key results and reporting periods.
The successful candidate will have the:
Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills, oral, written and presentational.
Proficiency in the use of ICT and the software programmes used in schools – particularly with regards to spreadsheets/databases.
Knowledge of the data management software and packages commonly used in schools e.g. SIMs, SISRA, FFT,Edulink(others may be used).
Ability to produce reports and format information as required by Senior Leadership Team.
Ability to manage the information and data requirements of the school.
Advanced word processing,databaseand spreadsheet skills.
An understanding of and a commitment to safeguarding students.
Awareness of sensitive information and the need for confidentiality.
GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
