What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a skilled and approachable Data Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that the school’s data is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively used to support decision-making, teaching, and operational planning. You will work closely with the Data Manager and IT Team, interpreting complex datasets, producing timely reports, supporting staff, and contributing to key projects and system implementations.

This part-time role is 22.5 hours per week. While we would ideally like the hours worked across 5 days, we are flexible and happy to accommodate alternative patterns where possible.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a strong background working with data, databases and Excel.
  • Is confident extracting and manipulating data in Excel
  • Is confident explaining data and systems to non-technical users.
  • Can prioritise tasks effectively and work under direction.
  • Is approachable, collaborative, and enjoys helping others.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and ensures data is accurate and reliable.
