What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Data Support Officer to play a key role in maintaining and developing our school's data systems at New Horizons Primary School.This is a varied and rewarding position supporting data management, SEN administration and the coordination of school admissions.
You will work closely with the Office Manager, SENCO, Senior Leadership Team and Academy Data Team to ensure accurate data reporting, support pupil outcomes and manage key processes including the SEN register, EHCP administration and pupil admissions and transitions.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain student data systems (including Arbor) ensuring accuracy
- Coordinate and administer SEN processes including maintaining the SEN register, supporting EHCPs and annual reviews and managing medical records
- Oversee school admissions and pupil records including transitions and annual class list management
- Support the production of timetables, assessment data and pupil progress reports for the staff, parents and leadership
- Provide wider administrative support including school trips, communications, systems access and responding to enquiries from parents
About You:
- Highly organised, detail-focused and confident working with data and management systems
- Experienced in school data systems (Arbor experience is desirable)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- An effective communicator with staff, parents and external agencies
- Proactive, solution focused and comfortable working to deadlines
