Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead job summary
The Academy of Central Bedfordshire is one of the most successful Alternative Provisions in the country and accommodates vulnerable young people from across Central Bedfordshire. This is a unique opportunity to work within a trauma informed environment where our dedicated staff team strives to provide meaningful education that enables our pupils to reach their individual potential.
Ideally, you will have experience of working with young people with additional needs in a trauma informed, attachment aware manner although all relevant skills and experience will be considered.
We are proud of the level of investment we place in the learning and development of our staff to ensure each of our team members has the excellent level of training they need to be effective in their role.
We are looking for a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join the staff team at our Kingsland Campus in Houghton Regis. This role is term time only plus 2 weeks, 37 hours a week, working either 8 am - 4 pm or 8.30 am - 4.30 pm.
