What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen, following the promotion of our current Deputy Head to Headship. Eastover Primary School is seeking to appoint a visionary, highly motivated and experienced leader who will join the Head in leading the school on a journey of excellence whilst providing the best possible education and experiences for all the children at the school.
We are looking for a Deputy Head who:
- is an exemplar of quality first teaching with a proven record of modelling this to staff and effecting improvements in teaching and learning in specific subjects.
- has experience of working in an inclusive setting and has led aspects of school improvement linked to fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect and collaboration.
- has set ambitious standards for pupils and staff, promoting excellence.
This role will involve a teaching commitment.
We are a Community Primary School with close community links in a busy small town in Somerset.
