Deputy Head of Year job summary

  • 37 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 8am-4pm
  • Term Time plus 3 inset days
  • NJC SCP 12-17

We are looking for a Deputy Head of Year who, as part of a team, will help us to ensure that the behaviour of our pupils is outstanding. We have made great progress with low suspension and permanent exclusion rates. This role will involve working directly with children. You will be expected to support our internal exclusion unit [IEU] and our other Deputy Head’s of Years to ensure our pupils feel safe and understand that behaving appropriately is important in helping them, and others, learn.
