The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader as Deputy Head Teacher to our successful 9-13 Middle School.

The Deputy Head Teacher will inspire outstanding learning and progress to ensure that pupils achieve their personal best. Dorchester Middle School is part of the successful Dorchester Area Schools Partnership (DASP) of local First, Middle and Upper schools who share resources, planning and expertise in order to enhance continuity across all stages of the children’s’ education. We are currently in consultation to join the Wessex Multi Academy Trust.

Dorchester Middle School is located in the attractive town of Dorchester, which is situated some 8 miles from the Jurassic Coast in the glorious countryside of West Dorset. It is a Middle School deemed Secondary and benefits from a fully comprehensive intake. Most of our pupils feed into the very successful Thomas Hardye School in Year 9, which is on an adjacent site.
