Deputy Headteacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational leader to the position of Deputy Head at St James C of E Primary Academy. Applications are welcomed from candidates who will have the vision, expertise and drive to further develop this already very successful school.
You will join a very supportive senior leadership team and help to lead a talented and hard-working staff who are highly motivated to provide children with aspirational, challenging and engaging learning experiences.
The successful candidate will have:
• The enthusiasm and energy to sustain and further enhance the excellent teaching practice in our school
• A dynamic approach to leading subjects and supporting colleagues in middle leadership.
• Strong monitoring and evaluation skills
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of current developments and the latest educational research (such as curriculum development and how pupils learn)
