Carwarden House Community School is an ambitious and dynamic LAN provision providing brilliant learning opportunities for up to 160 students with a complex range of learning and additional needs (11 – 19yrs.).

We became an academy on 1st August 2014. We have a very strong shared vision that was developed after discussions with staff, trustees, students and parents. It encapsulates all that we endeavor to instill in our students by the time they leave us to take their place in the world. Parents tell us in very strong terms that they want us to focus on developing life skills and independence in their son or daughter.

Our shared vision and all that flows from that reflects that desire. Shared Vision When students leave Carwarden House they should be ambitious, articulate, caring, confident, determined, independent, resilient, respectful, responsible and successful. We are highly regarded in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire and, as a result, attract students from many neighbouring local authorities.
