Deputy Headteacher job summary

Dunbury CE Academy are seeking to recruit a passionate, committed and aspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team. This is a full time, permanent position.

This role combines teaching responsibility with dedicated time out of class for leadership.

Dunbury is a small, caring, rural school, rooted in the values of trust, friendship, respect and courage, as recognised in our ‘Good’ OfSTED (2023) and outstanding SIAMs (2025). We have happy and enthusiastic children, parents and staff who are supportive of each other.
