What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an inspirational school leader who:

  • is resilient and approachable being able to challenge, be challenged, inspire and support staff and pupils
  • can lead on inclusion across a primary school setting and has a track record of school wide impact in this area
  • shares our inclusive values and has the passion and creativity to help every pupil achieve more than they previously thought possible
  • has a track record and experience in supporting and improving outcomes for vulnerable pupils
  • has a deep understanding of transition work between nurseries into primary school, as well as onwards towards secondary school
  • will maintain and extend links with parents, carers, partner schools, outside agencies and the wider community to improve outcomes for all our pupils
  • has the ability to lead on whole school staff professional development to support the school’s strategic vision
  • has experience and understanding of operating alongside external networks and support systems for the best interests of every pupil
  • is capable of writing reports to governors, staff and parents.
