What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a full-time Deputy Headteacher from September 2023 with the expertise and ambition to play an integral part in our school’s exciting vision to ensure excellence for our children. As a member of our supportive Strategic Leadership Team you will help to lead talented and committed colleagues to provide children with aspirational challenges and opportunities that are worthy of their promise. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring leader to develop their own potential in a caring and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for academic research and innovative learning, developing further a culture of learning and continuous improvement of staff and pupils.

Huttoft Primary & Nursery School is part of the Horncastle Education Trust, which also includes four other schools; Banovallum School, Frithville Primary School, New York Primary School and Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School. The Trust was formed from a genuine desire to work more closely together following the success of existing partnership work between the schools. Having both secondary and primary schools that are geographically close is something we take a pride in as a Trust.
