What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Deputy Headteacher with a proven track record of school leadership and school improvement to join our dynamic leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the school, embed systems and processes and ensure excellence in the quality of education.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide outstanding leadership, ensure high standards of education and foster a positive and inclusive school culture. You will work closely with the Head of School and Executive Headteacher to drive strategic development and ensure the school's continued success.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Experience of leadership within a school.
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner.
- A commitment to STEM and Outdoor Learning.
- Experience of leading and organising whole school training for staff and supporting ECTs and those new to the profession (including support staff).
- Experience of leading teaching and learning across the school including assessment.
- Experience of leading a team through change and leading on strategic initiatives.
- A caring and patient approach to nurturing pupils to achieve their full potential in life.
- The ability to motivate both students and staff.
