Deputy Headteacher job summary
The governors are seeking to appoint a new deputy head and KS2 teacher from January 2022 to our successful village primary school following the appointment of our previous deputy to headship.
We are looking for somebody who cares, has enthusiasm, drive and flexibility to support our wonderful children and school community. In addition we are looking for someone who has;
• Successful career in teaching and experience in leading and developing whole school initiatives
• Skill, determination and professionalism to bring about change.
• The ability to lead and inspire children, staff and parents by modelling high personal expectations and establishing good relationships
• Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully with everybody within the school team and the local community.
• To have the ability to put the child at the centre of all decision making, in order to nurture and develop the whole child
• To support the head and governing body in continually improving the school
• A commitment to the children through delivering extra-curricular activities
