Due to our current Deputy Headteacher choosing to step down from their role aftermany years of dedicated and successful leadership, this has created an excitingopportunity for a new Deputy Headteacher to join our team. You will lead key school priorities, oversee the curriculum and promote ourpastoral and inclusive ethos. The role includes class teaching responsibilities and weare looking for a candidate who will model excellent practice and inspire both pupilsand staff.We are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate who has:

- Considerable skill as an exceptional teacher-leader, with high aspirations for alllearners within their class and the wider school.

- High expectations for pupils’ attainment, behaviour and attendance withexcellent communication skills to ensure these expectations translate intopupils achieving their full potential.

- Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully deliveringwhole-school initiatives and a vision that inspires and motivates others.

- Expertise in teaching and learning, with a current understanding of theNational Curriculum, Phonics, the EYFS framework and national assessmentrequirements.

- Strong strategic thinking, with experience in school self-evaluation anddevelopment planning, including devising, implementing and monitoringeffective policies.

- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships withfamilies, external agencies, the wider community and all stakeholders.

- The ability to turn challenging situations into positive opportunities and successful outcomes.
