Deputy Headteacher job summary
The Trustees of The Sea View Trust are very much looking forward to appointing a talented professional to join the leadership team of this outstanding special academy on 1st September 2021.
As Park Community Academy's Deputy Headteacher, the post holder will play a significant part in leading the staff, pupils, parents and governors in further developing the acdemy aims, values and systems of working; further embedding the current excellent practice and implementing innovative new strategies to ensure that the children and young people are enabled to be the very best that they can be.
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced, supportive and innovative Senior Leadership Team that places the aspirations for, and achievements of, the pupils at the centre of all that the academy does. The culture is to work collaboratively and strategically to ensure that the mental health and wellbeing of the whole school community remains a focus for all. Additionally, whilst the role of the Deputy Headteacher is non class based, a high level of visibility across the school is essential. This will support ongoing school self-evaluation and improvement, together with effective pastoral support for the whole school community.
Joining the academy as the next Deputy Headteacher will present a brilliant opportunity for a leader who is passionate about education, keen to innovate in teaching and learning and who can help develop an ambitious vision and strategy for the future of Park Community Academy.
