What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher who:

  • Is a practising Catholic with a clear vision and strong commitment to Catholic education.
  • Secure in their understanding of and commitment to safeguarding.
  • Able to lead and develop improvement across the curriculum.
  • Passionate about children’s learning and has a proven track record of raising attainment and developing the whole child.
  • An excellent communicator with good leadership and management skills who can develop and work with existing staff.
  • Hard working, well organised and highly motivated.
  • Excellent operational skills; able to co-ordinate timetables, staffing cover and monitoring cycles across the school year.

  • Is supportive of the Headteacher in driving the school forward.
  • Can demonstrate excellent classroom teaching and learning with high expectations of pupil attainment.
