What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher who:
- Is a practising Catholic with a clear vision and strong commitment to Catholic education.
- Secure in their understanding of and commitment to safeguarding.
- Able to lead and develop improvement across the curriculum.
- Passionate about children’s learning and has a proven track record of raising attainment and developing the whole child.
- An excellent communicator with good leadership and management skills who can develop and work with existing staff.
- Hard working, well organised and highly motivated.
- Excellent operational skills; able to co-ordinate timetables, staffing cover and monitoring cycles across the school year.
- Is supportive of the Headteacher in driving the school forward.
- Can demonstrate excellent classroom teaching and learning with high expectations of pupil attainment.
