The Priory Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and driven Deputy Headteacher to play a pivotal role in developing the school to provide the best possible educational experience for our children and help realise our school vision, ‘Achievement for All, Guided by God’.
You will be joining a school at an exciting time and a period of change. Some Key Stages have recently moved to a mixed year group model and we recently relaunched our own inclusive and exciting curriculum. The successful candidate will be joining a committed Senior Leadership Team and will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on the success of our school including the development of a middle management structure. We have a beautiful school building and grounds including an award winning wildlife garden and this year we are planting trees to create a new forest environment which will give us many new learning opportunities.
The Priory CofE Primary School is located in the heart of Wimbledon and we have a diverse cohort of children from many different backgrounds which we celebrate at every opportunity and our Christian ethos permeates everything we do. We have a supportive governing body, a very active parent association and we belong to the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education family of schools within the Merton Local Authority.
Appointment to this position will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
