Design and Technology Teacher (1218) job summary

We are there for looking for a highly skilled, creative and enthusiastic resistant materials specialist who can deliver Design & Technology up to KS4 and to be part of our team here at Humberston Academy.

You will be joining a hard working supportive team that achieved their best ever results in 2019 due to a team of outstanding practitioners.

The department has 2 mixed material workshops, equipped with a range of wood and metal working facilities, a dedicated computer room fully equipped with 2D/3D CAD software and an A2 laser cutter. It also has a second dedicated general-purpose classroom/design space.
Students in the academy show a real enthusiasm for their Design & Technology and are acutely aware of the link between the subject and the world of work, particularly in the industries within the local area.
