Design and Technology Teacher job summary

You will:

  • Teach Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Deliver engaging lessons in areas such as product design, resistant materials, electronics, and textiles

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities

  • Maintain a safe and inspiring workshop environment

  • Support students in developing practical skills and design thinking

    We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching D&T in a secondary setting

  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for hands-on learning

  • Is confident using modern technologies and design software

  • Can motivate and challenge students of all abilities

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
